How are you doing today?

Somedays it feels like you just can't continue but then you realize  you've got to hang in there. Things get better as you begin to trust this loving, wonderful spirit of the Universe, this spirit that was there from creation and is here right now, wrapping you in its love. Once there is love there can be no fear. Feel the love and know that you're alright, know that whatevers goes up must come down, nothing remains the same. Change is constant and just feel the change, ride the storm and wait for the calm.
Right this moment, I have a friend whose daughter is battling serious cancer, doctors are ready to stop treatment because nothing appears to be working.
I ask you to be a safe harbour for this person with your prayers and good vibration. Just send it out to this young woman who is in her late 20;s and has a little 2 year old waiting for his mommy to return from the hospital. Say a prayer please.  Thank you.

Safe Harbour Blog

This blog is committed to help you speak your truth in whatever way you want. There is no judgment, no condemnation. You may wish to give your name or remain anonymous. Just unload what is blocking you, what is keeping you from living your dream.
Hope to hear from you.
Have a great day.

Safe Harbour Workshop

A safe harbour workshop was held in Winnipeg last Friday at which facilitators were trained to deliver the workshop to agencies who would then be asked to be a safe harbour location. To become a safe harbour business, you have to have certain values. It has to be committed to equality for all, safety from racial violence and Respect for all.
Hopefully in the months to follow there might be more workshops available to sensitise people in Winnipeg to Safe Harbour principles.
The workshop was brought to Winnipeg by CMARD - a committee of Citizenship Equity Committee. CMARD stands for Canadian Municipality Against Racial Discrimination. The workshop was offered free of charge and they plan on holding more workshops for individuals and organizations.
This blog will feature more information about this really neat program in days to come.
